On 2/9 Framingham Police Officer Mason Brown was working a private detail when he heard calls for help from officers at a large party. The calls for assistance were clear and obvious that officers needed immediate assistance. Several agencies were notified and were responding. Mason who was in uniform, jumped into his truck and made his way to the location where the officers needed help.
While en-route, Mason’s truck was hit head on by a car which was traveling in the opposite direction. Mason as well as the other driver were airlifted to the hospital where he would have surgery to repair a severely broken femur, knee and treated for other injuries. Mason will be out of work for an extended period of time and has a long recovery ahead. Mason who had recently purchased his first home, will not be able to benefit from the additional income a police officer usually benefits, via overtime or details.
Anyone who wears a badge knows police officers survive financially on that extra income.
This is being set up with the hope that we can help Mason and his girlfriend Becca make ends meet and help eliminate some of the stress they will face financially as Mason recovers. Any amount helps and is greatly appreciated.
