Given the success and feedback on my 5 last minute players to target column, I’ll be doing weekly daily fantasy picks for the readers. This column will provide will provide you players that I am highly targeting based off injury news, usage, matchups and trends. Please note that these are for the Sunday Only games.

Alvin Kamara RB – ($8700)

Cover boy Alvin Kamara is in a prime spot to eat this Sunday. We watched McCaffrey shred this Rams Defense last week and we should expect similar production from Kamara. He finished with 169 total yards last week (97 rushing yds, 72 receiving yds) but failed to find the end zone. I have him projected around 20 fantasy points this week. Kamara gives you a safe floor with a massive ceiling in one of the highest totaled game of the week. Roster him with confidence.

Tyrell Williams WR – ($5900)

The departure of Antonio Brown freed up a chunk of targets for the Raiders receivers. Tyrell being the primary beneficiary, finishing last week with 6 catches on 7 targets for 105 yards and a touchdown. It was pretty clear that he was Carr’s primary receiver and he gets to face the putrid Chiefs secondary this week who allowed 146 yards to DJ Chark. Most of Chark’s catches last week came from deep balls down the field which is what Tyrell excels at. At his low cost we can expect a high floor high ceiling game from Williams this week.

Mark Andrews TE – ($6100)

This play may be a little sneaky and contrarian but Arizona gave up 131 yards to TJ Hockenson last week. The Cardinals biggest weakness is at linebacker and defending the middle of the field. Even Amendola racked up 104 yards last week in the slot. Andrews should have no issues working in between the hashes this week. He finished with 8 catches on 8 targets for 108 yards and a touchdown. Expect him to tear up the Cardinals linebackers this week and find the end zone again. Even being one of Lamar’s favorite targets he does have a low floor given the Raven’s run first approach but this game is expected to be relatively high scoring.

Cooper Kupp WR – ($6800)

Returning from an ACL tear back in November, Kupp looks more explosive than last year. His speed scores and agility were all tested faster than last year during the preseason. He finds himself in a great spot on Sunday in what looks likely to be a shootout game. Kupp finished with 7 catches on 10 targets for 46 yards. Although he does have a low aDOT (Average Depth of Target), he will be facing off against Eli Apple and PJ Williams in the slot. Now if you watched last week, PJ Williams got roasted by Hopkins, Stills and Fuller out of the slot. Expect a big day for Kupp this week. Pairing Kamara and Kupp together gives you a great mini game stack with two high floor players.

Being successful in DFS comes down to your ability to identify news, matchups and value. Each week, I’ll go through my top 4 core plays highlighting players with the most volume and value. While things may change leading up to kickoff, please be sure to check lineups following injuries or inactives. Good luck this week and feel free to hit me up on twitter with any questions @GK_Leung.
